I photographed the floor of the "LATO architecture and design Studio" (in Prato, Tuscany) where are included fossils; pictures are on film and digital.

I repeat: a work can not be explained. The work begins to speak to us through an emotion that words can not express. But who wants to know the mind of the author can read the text that follows.

There were three things: the signs of fossils, the geometric linear lines of the joints between stones, the floor surface. I felt immediately the untouchable one, the usable one, and the one which should disappear. The signs of fossils have spoken first: they are supreme art and we should not dare to change them. The linear signs are placed where they are needed. The main thing, the surface of the stones, now it's only a form reflection.
